I have made the larger cabochon by casting hand-cut copper within it. Copper turns a beautiful range of red colours when fired in the kiln and this colour of glass allows that to be seen. The glass is cast twice to include the inclusion of the metal. The smaller glass cabochons have been made by grinding glass and also casting in my kiln.

These are one of a kind and handmade by me.
