One of a kind statement ring with my Tearjerker design.

This piece pushes past traditional glass and metal boundaries. I fused copper to the glass and then removed the copper so there is no physical metal remaining on or inside this glass surface; instead, the result is a permanent chemical memory.

The texture is the imprint of the copper Tearjerker design on the glass and it leaves behind a trapped landscape of rich copper oxides that react organically inside the glass, creating dark, metallic depths.

The outer bezel and wide ring band are crafted from solid brass and have been turned vibrant blue using a fume method to patina them. The ring and patina are coated to protect them and to offer a defence against any potential allergy.
