The Crushed Candy Ring in Turquoise with Penny features a captivating, translucent jewel with a surprise hidden inside.

A small glass cabochon is crafted using vibrant turquoise frit, casting a hand-pierced copper disc featuring the iconic “Penny” face design directly within the glass jewel and the copper profile silhouettes beautifully against a shimmering, dark blue background.

The glass cabochon is secured in a clean, plain bezel setting featuring an open-back cutout that lets the face peeking through catch the light. The entire piece is set onto a smooth, polished sterling silver ring band.

In the sun, the clear glass catches direct light, casting a vibrant blue shadow pattern onto your hand.

The ring is not officially hallmarked but does have my maker’s mark and the price reflects this.
